Elliot sunk during Talisman Saber 2005

The Elliot has been sunk by aircraft from the USS Kitty Hawk in a live fire exercise on 24 June 2005.  Her final resting place is 25 degrees south, 155 degrees east approximately 100 miles east of Fraser Island which is off the east coast of Australia.
